Majlis Nurul Bara’ah is an Annual Children’s Mawlid Assembly, a unique Mawlid celebration presented by children, for children. The event will feature Mawlid recitations, storytelling sessions, and Qasidah performances, all delivered by young participants under the guidance of Relite Qasidah Club by REVAMP.SG
This event was first introduced in 2023 in collaboration with Masjid Haji Muhammad Salleh @ Maqam Habib Noh, as part of a fundraising effort for the restoration of the Maqam. Alhamdulillah, last year's event received overwhelming support from the community.
Our aim is to make this an annual event to expose and involve children to the beautiful tradition of Mawlid, fostering love for our beloved Prophet ﷺ and his noble family. We also hope this gathering can serve as a platform to strengthen the bonds within our community.
SEEKING YOUR SUPPORT
Due to the growing interest and increasing attendance, REVAMP’s current premises can no longer accommodate the number of participants. We are especially grateful for the opportunity given by Jamiyah Singapore to host the Majlis Nurul Bara’ah this coming November 10th. The total budget for the event is approximately $15,000. We sincerely seek your do’as and support for the love of Rasulullah ﷺ and for the benefit of our children.
In the spirit of “Wa ta’aawanu bil birri wat-taqwa” (from Surah Al-Maidah, Chapter 5 verse 2), which means: “And cooperate in righteousness and piety”, and to make this celebration truly special, we humbly invite you to share in the rewards by supporting this event. Donations will help cover several key aspects of the event, including:
Catering for 600 meal packs
Printing the Nurul Bara’ah Mawlid and Qasidah booklet
Gifts for the child performers as tokens of appreciation
Honorariums for our esteemed guests of honor, Habib Mahdi Al-Hamid and Shaykh Mus’ab Penfound
Door gifts for attendees

We are especially grateful for the opportunities given to the children in our Relite Qasidah Club and the trust placed in us by the organizations that engaged us, as well as the wider community.
We are deeply thankful and honored to have been invited by Jamiyah Singapore and the Muslim Converts’ Association of Singapore (Darul Arqam) to perform at SINGAPORE EXPO on 22 September 2024 and Suntec City on 6 October 2024. The Mawlid and Qasidahs play a vital role in connecting both our children and us with Rasulullah ﷺ.
